Getting here

Most guests arrive by car. Woodhall Spa has had no railway station of its own since the branch line closed in the 1950s. The nearest stations are Metheringham and Ruskington, with Lincoln the nearest larger station, and the last part of the journey is by taxi or car. You drive down a woodland track and park right next to your own treehouse, or beside the lodge if you are staying at Gate House Lodge. Full directions and your self check-in instructions are emailed to you five days before you arrive, so you will have everything you need before setting off.

Check in any time after 3pm, or after 4pm at Gate House Lodge, and check out before 10am. Arrivals are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a minimum stay of two nights. You can see which dates are free on the availability and pricing page.

Walking into Woodhall Spa

The village is two miles away and you can either drive or walk in along the Viking Way, the long-distance footpath that passes the woodland and runs through the Hotchkin golf course. Woodhall Spa has an award-winning bakery and delicatessen, a butcher, a greengrocer, a Co-op and a Sainsbury’s Local, alongside pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.
