Whether you’re looking for an adventure, a relaxing break or simply to wind down in nature, Pheasant’s Roost invites you to experience it all here, on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Your home in the trees offers the ultimate return to nature; one of 6 eco-chic treehouses built around private, secluded lakes on the edge of Lincolnshire’s most attractive village, Woodhall Spa.

Sleeping a maximum of 2 adults.

You can arrive at your treehouse by a small walk (and even row your own private boat across the lake!) to get to your treehouse. Or you can drive down a woodland track and park near to your treehouse.

Pheasant’s Roost catches the partial sunrise/sunset, next to the edge of the woodland, with beautiful views across the lake. Facing North.

Bedroom with king-size, handmade bed, Scandinavian inspired interiors with chic ambient lighting.

Ensuite Shower Room with double stone washbasins, large walk-in drencher shower, WC and heated towel rail. Towels and bathrobes are provided along with complimentary Signature toiletries and spa slippers.

Lounge/Living Area with two large picture windows and patio doors onto decking, wood-burning stove, views out across the lake. Comfortable Chesterfield armchairs and beautiful, muted colour schemes with hints of greens and blues, reflecting its namesake.

Open-Plan Kitchen with woodland/lake views, roman blinds, kitchen sink, open handcrafted oak shelves, oak worktops, cottage table and chairs in front of a picture window. Bespoke green kitchen units, two ring electric hob, electric oven, microwave and built-in fridge freezer. Well equipped with everything you need for a mini, luxury self-catering break.

Outside there is a spacious decking/terrace with a luxury bathtub with funky, industrial style taps to soak under the stars. The bath overlooks the peaceful lake and woodlands, just the spot to lie back and enjoy the sounds of water, wildlife and nature. The logs around the bathtub are the ideal place for your drinks and champagne bottles. Chairs are provided on the elevated terrace, giving it a garden feel, with rhododendrons reaching up to the balustrade.

Outside/Garden access to a lake, with your own private mooring platform and boat, and open woodland and countryside views all around, with the addition of a fire pit and grill with log seating. Starter logs provided for outside too. Hammock swings underneath your treehouse, another great spot to relax and enjoy your view as well as hammocks nestled in the trees beside your treehouse.

The Grounds are shared with the guests of 5 other treehouses and Gate House Lodge.

Access via a staircase onto a wooden decking.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed in Pheasant’s Roost due to the safety aspect of the raised terraces and balustrades. Our ground-level Gate House Lodge is dog-friendly.

Please Note: Treetop Hideaways is set in a natural established woodland with rustic, woodland walkways and lakes. Walking boots or wellies are a good idea for the winter months! Maybe bring a torch too if you would like to walk in the evenings. Some parts of the woodland have lighting, some parts are left untouched and natural to explore.  Access to all treehouses are via steps (and via boat if you would like to row! – lifejackets are provided) It’s all part of the adventure!

“Being the first guests to stay at the Pheasants Roost Treetop Hideaway was an amazing experience. The tranquil and serene settings put us in the right frame of mind. The treetop was beautiful and felt like home away from home. I loved the fact that the cleaning products were all vegan/natural and the idea of ‘no’ TV.

We will be back during the summer so that we can use all of the facilities especially the outside bath, the boat and BBQ.

Thank you for allowing us to hit the reset button, see you soon!”
