Gate House Lodge

This ground level Gate House Lodge is conveniently located close to the entrance of our beautiful woodland with an amazing lake view, panoramic sauna, private mooring platform and rowing boat. The ultimate, indulgent, adult short break. The tastefully designed interiors combine rustic and luxury contemporary living, offering a calming, magical self-catering experience.

Sleeping a maximum of 2 adults.

You can park right next to your lodge with easy access.

Bedroom with a king-size handmade bed, Scandinavian inspired interiors and chic ambient lighting.

Shower Room with a walk-in drencher shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail. Towels and bathrobes provided along with complimentary Signature toiletries, handmade soaps and spa slippers.

Lounge/Living Room with two large picture windows and patio doors leading out towards the woodland with beautiful views across the lake. Comfortable armchairs, small farmhouse table and chairs with beautiful, subtle colour schemes of hints of teals and greys.

Kitchen with kitchen sink, open handcrafted oak shelves, oak worktops, Bespoke grey kitchen units, two ring electric hob, electric oven, microwave and built-in fridge freezer. Well equipped with everything you need for a mini, luxury, self-catering break.

Outside/Garden with access to a lake, with your own private mooring platform and rowing boat. Open woodlands all around, with the addition of your own private, panoramic sauna with the most stunning lake and woodland view. Fire pit and grill with wooden seating.  Starter logs, kindling and eco firelighters provided. A perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the abundance of wildlife right on your doorstep. If you are feeling more energetic there are many beautiful walks and cycles tracks starting from the entrance of our site.

The Grounds are shared with the guests of our 6 signature treehouses, located around the far lake, and set within the same 17 acres of mature, natural woodland and lakes.

Access via a low level entrance and pebbled pathway.

Please Note: Treetop Hideaways is set in a natural established woodland with rustic, woodland walkways and lakes. Walking boots or wellies are a good idea for the winter months! Maybe bring a torch too if you would like to walk in the evenings. Some parts of the woodland have lighting, some parts are left untouched and natural to explore.  Access to all treehouses are via steps (and via boat if you would like to row! – lifejackets are provided) It’s all part of the adventure!
