Kingfisher’s Perch is a west-facing lakeside treehouse for two near Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. It takes the afternoon and evening sun and looks straight down the length of the lake at sunset. Inside, a handmade king-size bed and colour schemes in blues and oranges; outside, a copper bath on the terrace, a log burner, a fire pit and your own rowing boat.

Set in 17 acres of mature rhododendron woodland, Kingfisher’s Perch is a quiet retreat for two, looking out over the lake.
Its elevated terrace, outdoor copper bath and private rowing boat make it one of the best spots on site for an evening, with the sun dropping down the length of the water directly in front of you.
Sleeping a maximum of 2 adults.
You will drive down a woodland track and park right next to your treehouse.
Kingfisher’s Perch Treehouse is situated perfectly if you want to enjoy the evening sun, with its West facing outlook, and beautiful views across the lake.
Bedroom with king-size handmade bed, Scandinavian inspired interiors with chic ambient lighting.
Ensuite Shower Room with double stone washbasins, large walk-in drencher shower, WC and heated towel rail. Towels and bathrobes are provided along with complimentary Signature toiletries and spa slippers.
Lounge/Living Area with two large picture windows and patio doors onto decking, wood-burning stove, views out across the lake. Chesterfield armchairs, with beautiful colour schemes with hints of blues and oranges reflecting its namesake.
Open-Plan Kitchen with woodland views, roman blinds, kitchen sink, open handcrafted oak shelves, oak worktops, bar stools and table in front of a picture window. Bespoke grey kitchen units, two ring electric hob, electric oven, microwave and built-in fridge freezer. Well equipped with everything you need for a mini, luxury self-catering break.
Outside there is a spacious decking/terrace with a luxury copper bath to soak under the stars. The bath overlooks the peaceful lake and woodlands, just the spot to lie back and enjoy the sounds of water, wildlife and nature. The logs around the bathtub are the ideal place for your drinks and champagne bottles. Chairs are provided on the elevated terrace, giving it a garden feel, with rhododendrons reaching up to the balustrade.
Outside/Garden access to a lake, with your own private rowing boat, and open woodlands all around, with the addition of a fire pit and grill with log seating. Starter logs provided for outside too. You can also relax in hammocks nestled within the beautiful trees below or hammock swings underneath your treehouse, another great spot to relax and enjoy your view.
The grounds are shared with the guests of 5 other treehouses and Gate House Lodge.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed in Kingfisher’s Perch due to the safety aspect of the raised terraces and balustrades. Our ground-level Gate House Lodge is dog-friendly.
Please Note: Treetop Hideaways is set in a natural established woodland with rustic, woodland walkways and lakes. Walking boots or wellies are a good idea for the winter months! Maybe bring a torch too if you would like to walk in the evenings. Some parts of the woodland have lighting, some parts are left untouched and natural to explore. Access to all treehouses are via steps. Enjoy the adventure!

How many people does Kingfisher's Perch sleep?
Two adults, aged 18 and over. All seven of our properties are adults only and each sleeps a maximum of two.
Does Kingfisher's Perch get the sunrise or the sunset?
Kingfisher's Perch faces west, so it catches the afternoon and evening sunshine and sees beautiful sunsets across the length of the lake.
Can we bring our dog to Kingfisher's Perch?
Dogs are not allowed in Kingfisher's Perch because of the raised terraces and balustrades, which would not be safe. Our ground-level Gate House Lodge is dog friendly, at an additional charge of £25 per dog per stay.
What time can we check in and check out?
Check in any time after 3pm and check out before 10am. Arrivals are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a minimum stay of two nights. We operate a self check-in procedure and send you the details by email five days before you arrive.
What is included in the price?
All bed linen and towels, bathrobes and slippers, luxury eco toiletries, a welcome hamper of local treats, a starter pack of tea, coffee and sugar, a pint of milk, and a starter pack of logs, kindling and eco firelighters for the log burner and fire pit. Extra logs and kindling can be purchased and delivered to your treehouse.
